Blackburn's Blue butterfly
Add to Cart Add to Lightbox DownloadThe Koa butterfly, sometimes called Blackburn’s Blue (Udara blackburni) is one of the only two native butterflies in Hawaii. It is only about an inch long with the upper sides of the wings blue and the undersides green. This butterfly was photographed along the Kilauea Iki trail in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii.
