The town of Haines, in southeast Alaska, celebrates the Fourth of July with a parade, picnic, and other activities. Among the participants in the parade is the Haines Community marching Band, a group made up of local musicians. This year, they played Sousa’s “The Stars and Stripes Forever.”
Haines, a picturesque costal fishing community, is located on the Lynn Canal between the towns of Skagway and Juneau.
